Rising Rape cases: Analysis of Causes by Chhattisgarh Civil Society

Rising Rape cases: Analysis of Causes by Chhattisgarh Civil Society, khabargali, raipur

Raipur (khabargali) The incidence for all crimes in India are rising especially violence be it murder, abduction and sexual offences. We at CCS are evaluating the root cause and following is initial data from our Research team:

The encouragement to perform Crime has increased tremendously especially in last two decades.

1. The inclination of masses have tilted towards lawlessness and aggression secondary to to poor punishment system in Judiciary. Even our Supreme Court takes more than stipulated time in deciding vital cases be it Nirbhaya case, Bombay blast case, or epsinogae case. Getting justice for even a very clear cut case is tedious and difficult to achieve.

2. Mainstream media is misusing its clout to propagate self-interest and TRP. Journalism is at all time low being used to generate money and it is APATHETIC towards concerns of ordinary man.

3. Entertainment industry be it Bollywood, TV industry or Web series; all are involved in propagating Anti feminine narratives specially mocking the traditional Indian values of respecting females, family structure and social ethics. Nobody gets punished for promoting adultery, sexual crimes and polygamy in movie and serials.

4. Our children are exposed to immense violence and hatred through various mobile games which are based on continuous firing and bombardment and one gets rewarded for killing and shooting.

5. Last but not the least. We have seen gradual increase in crime over last 70 years primary because of Nehruvian policy of divide and rule. Political parties across the board have divided Indian masses based on religion, caste and topography. Be it reservations and privileges extended to various groups based on religion and caste. This creates divide among our society. Whenever there is discussion on crime, or on Reforms and you want to to hold the administration responsible for a a mishap.

Chhattisgarh civil society firmly believes that all reservations in all wakes of life should be abolished immediately. It should start from elections first and then should be extended in all fields.
